Taranita Costales-Marez is a Queens, New York-based photographer whose work is deeply rooted in capturing authenticity and diversity, typically set against urban landscapes.
Her photographs reflect a commitment to showcasing the individuality of her subjects. Taranita’s images have been featured in local photography exhibitions and publications such as Latina Magazine, The New Yorker, and various independent fashion outlets. She has also worked on projects for Adobe Premiere and NYC’s MTA.
She is a co-director of Camera of the Month Club, an NYC photography collective for emerging and mid-level career photographers. In her role as co-director, she helps curate annual photography shows, managing the collective’s social media presence and more.
